Established in 1983, Sigma Institute is a reputed technical education institution situated at the western side of NH 17 at the heart of Vatanappally town (15 km from Thrissur town). Vatanappally, a coastal village is one of the largest panchayaths in Thrissur District that lies in between two ancient cities, Kodungalloor and Guruvayoor
For the last 30 years , thousands of students from average and poor families from the coastal area (From Ponnani to kodungalloor ) were well trained in different technical and engineering courses at Sigma Institute and most of them are well settled in India and abroad .
Sigma conducts Kerala Govt Certifuicate Engineering two years courses (K.G.C.E ) in CIVIL Engg, ELECTRICAL Engg, REFRIGERATION & AIRCONDITIONING Engg and RADIO & TV Engg trades.
Sigma also conducts advanced courses in Instrumentation Fitter and Instrumentation Technician one Year courses under the guidance of School of Information and Instrumentation Technology (SIIT)
